Crimson Desert system requirements forecast

To run the Crimson Desert system requirements, we predict that you will need an AMD Radeon RX 590 GPU, an Intel i7-6700K CPU, 8GB of RAM, and about 45GB of SSD space.

While the game is still far from release, a lot more Crimson Desert gameplay has been released by the developer, and so given us a much better impression as to what level of tech the game will demand. As such, we've put together our predicted Crimson Desert PC requirements, taking the gameplay trailer's impressive graphics and particle effects into account.

We believe that the Crimson Desert minimum requirements will call for an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 graphics card, an Intel Core i7-6700K CPU, and 8GB of RAM. This should be enough to get the game running, but will likely require you to lower the graphics settings as much as possible to achieve a decent framerate.

To play on the Crimson Desert recommended specs, it isn't unreasonable to believe that an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, an Intel Core i7-8700K CPU, and 16GB of RAM will be able to run the game well. A more powerful processor may be required, but it should be more than enough to achieve 60FPS even on medium settings considering what we've analyzed from the game's trailers.

With the previous installment, Black Desert Online, coming in at less than 30GB, it seems right to estimate that the Crimson Desert download size for PC will be about 45GB of SSD space.

Crimson Desert release date

With the Crimson Desert release date originally slated for July 2021, Crimson Desert has since faced major delays. However, a Gamescom gameplay trailer in August 2023 has revitalized hopes that Crimson Desert will see a release in the near future, perhaps during the late 2025 release window.

Crimson Desert will run on PC system with Windows 10 64-bit or higher and upwards.
