At present, it is unknown whether Monster Hunter Wilds will be available day one on Game Pass. The Monster Hunter Wilds beta closed on Monday, November 4, 2024, having given players access to the character creator and a limited trail of the story mode. The MH Wilds beta launched to a significant Steam player count, surpassing the all-time player account of its predecessor MH World. 

It is unlikely that another MH Wilds beta will be made available prior to the official release date, though the widespread Monster Hunter Wilds performance issues could result in another playtest. Even on incredibly beefy hardware, our test PCs were struggling to achieve stable frame rates above 60. Hopefully, Capcom will address this, and give players another chance at hunting before February 2025.

Capcom confirmed that MH Wilds has crossplay support across all platforms. This will enable PlayStation, PC, and Xbox gamers to join cooperative hunts against the full roster of MH Wilds monsters.
