Can I Run The Witcher 4?
We predict that the Witcher 4 system requirements will require an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU, an Intel Core i5-10600K CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 100GB of HD space.
The Witcher 4 PC requirements have not been officially released, but we can expect them to be far more demanding than The Witcher 3, especially following the decision to run the game on the Unreal Engine 5.
As we don't expect to see The Witcher 4 for a couple more years, it's highly likely that the hardware requirements will be comparibly more advanced.
So, we predict that The Witcher 4 minimum requirements will need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card, an Intel Core i5-10600K processor, and 16GB of RAM. This is a fairly beefy setup, but should be more than enough to run the game well when it eventually releases, particularly if the game world is significantly larger than The Witcher 3.
If, however, you want any hope of meeting The Witcher 4 recommended specs, you'll likely need some near futuristic hardware like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU, an Intel Core i7-12700K CPU, and 32GB of RAM. The reveal trailer was pre-rendered on an unaccounted NVIDIA RTX card, and, which no gameplay was shown, it wouldn't be too surprising if the game will need a GPU on a similar level to play on the highest settings.
Witcher 4 size - How big will the Witcher 4 be?
We estimate that the Witcher 4 will require between 100GB and 200GB of SSD space. The chances of the game working on a HDD are practically zero given the general demands of modern AAA games.
