If possible, make sure your have 8 GB of RAM in order to run The Long Dark to its full potential. To play The Long Dark you will need a minimum CPU equivalent to an Intel Core i5-4400E. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core i7-920 to play the game.
