Can I Run Starfield?
To run the Starfield system requirements, you will be needing an NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti GPU, an Intel Core i7-6800K CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 125GB of SSD space.
Starfield has proven to be a very resource-intensive game, so you'll definitely need a good PC in order to run the game. Fortunately, meeting the Starfield PC requirements isn't impossible, though you'll definitely want a really good graphics card to play on the highest settings.
To meet the Starfield minimum requirements, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce 1070Ti graphics card, an Intel Core i7-6800K processor, and 16GB of RAM. At this level of hardware, you will still encounter performance issues, particularly in larger locations such as New Atlantis (one of the game's capital cities). You can tweak the Starfield settings to achieve better performance if you're encountering any issues, but you may want to aim for the higher Starfield specs if you want a smooth experience.
If you're looking for the most graphically-intense Starfield experience, Bethesda have stated that the Starfield recommended specs require an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, an Intel Core i5-10600K CPU, and 16GB of RAM, though we recommend having more than 16GB of RAM available. Even on the best systems, Starfield can experience small drops in performance, so exceeding the recommended specs is in your best interests, particularly if you start installing a large number of Starfield mods.
Beyond the standard Starfield PC specs, AMD have published official Starfield benchmarks for 1080p, 1440p, and 4K experiences. You can read PCGamesN's full review of these spec on their Starfield AMD specs guide.

Starfield Shattered Space DLC
The Starfield Shattered Space DLC launched on September 30, 2024. Despite adding a considerable amount of content, the DLC does not demand any more of your PC than the base game. The DLC expansion introduces a side story focusing on the faction of House Va'ruun and their homeworld Va'ruun'kai. Shattered Space is very different from the main game in that it takes place on a single, hand-crafted map with over 50 diverse locations, and a new main questline.
