Sons of the Forest PC requirements

To run the Sons of the Forest system requirements, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, an Intel Core i5-8400 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 20GB of storage space.

Sons of the Forest is by no means a difficult game to run by modern standards, but the Sons of the Forest PC requirements do have a relatively high RAM requirement which could make it difficult for older laptops and PCs getting it to run well.

But, all you need to meet the Sons of the Forest minimum requirements is an AMD Radeon RX 570 graphics card, an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X processor, and 12GB of RAM. As stated, this could prove a challenge for older devices, but mid-range rigs should have no issue meeting this requirement.

Of course, if you want the best gameplay performance, you'll need to aim for a higher benchmark.

To meet the Sons of the Forest recommended specs, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti GPU, an Intel Core i7-8700K CPU, and 16GB of RAM. Overall, this isn't much of a leap over the minimum specs, and should get the game running on the higher graphics presets without issue.
