Manor Lords System Requirements

To run the Manor Lords system requirements, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU, an Intel Core i5-4670 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 16GB of HD space.

Manor Lords is an Early Access blend of medieval city builder and Total War-like simulator with a realistic approach to both aspects. There's only one map available to play on at the moment, but randomised resources will make each playthrough unique. The only thing to bear in mind that, as with other strategy games like the Anno series, Manor Lords can get quite CPU intensive once you've built a large enough civilization. GPUs are important, but not as important as a good CPU for this game. The Manor Lords PC requirements are very accessible, requiring only a CPU from 2013 to get the game up and running. As such, you won't need a particularly powerful desktop or laptop to run Manor Lords PC, so long as you are running Windows 10 OS or later.

To meet the Manor Lords minimum requirements, you will need an AMD Radeon RX-460 graphics card, an AMD FX-4350 processeor, and 8GB of RAM, or the equivalent. For a strategy game, these entry requirements are incredibly reasonable, and you'll be able to play the game with some of the default graphics settings set to medium or higher.  However, in order to get the best performance out of the game, you may want to aim for a slightly higher benchmark. Fortunately, the increase in hardware demands are fairly low if you want to play the game at its best. 

To play the game on the highest graphics settings, the developer Slavic Magic has stated that the Manor Lords recommended specs require an Intel Core i5-7600 CPU, an AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU, and 12GB of RAM. With this level of hardware, you should have no issues running the game. Considering the recommended GPU was released in 2017, most modern gaming rigs should have no problems meeting this benchmark.

Manor Lords size

The Manor Lords download size for PC is 16GB of HDD or SSD space. While an SSD is not required to run the game, we recommend installing Manor Lords on an SSD anyway in order to guarantee the best gameplay performance. Manor Lords Game Pass

Is Manor Lords on Game Pass? Manor Lords is available on PC via Game Pass, and has been since April 26, 2024. The Manor Lords release date for PC saw a considerable number of players flock to the Early Access project. Unfortunately for console players, a release date for an Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S release has not yet been announced, but is anticipated in the near future. 

Manor Lords starting guide

Manor Lords does feature a tutorial in the form of tips, but it can be very easy to over-extend your early settlers if you prioritize the wrong things. So, here's our basic Manor Lords starting guide for any burgeoning settler.

Set up a logging camp, forager's hut, and hunter's camp as soon as possible. These provide you with two sources of food, and a supply of lumber for constructing other buildings. Plan your initial settlement by building roads, ensuring your prospective town sits on or near to an underground water source and doesn't obstruct areas of high crop fertility (viewable with the game's overlay feature (go to the resources tab of the build menu).

Always have one unassigned family on hand to build additional burbages. New citizens won't move into your new houses until your approval rate consistently exceeds 50%, so prioritise building a wooden church as soon as possible. You will need to move families between jobs in order to assemble the resources you need. Get a second ox as soon as possible, but make sure you first upgrade your hitching post to a stable. If you order an ox immediately and don't have enough stable room, the surplus animals will run away. Don't worry about farming until the second year. Farming will be your main source of food, but the manpower required to run a fully functioning farm is more than you can safely manage with the first five families you start off with.
