Following the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, 2024 - when the Gears of War E-Day trailer was revealed - no official Gears of War E-Day release date was announced. Not even the year was mentioned, implying that the game is unlikely to see a 2024 release, and will more likely arrive in 2025/2026.
