The Final Fantasy requirements for PC have been updated to reflect the increase in hardware requirements as of the July 2, 2024 release of Dawntrail, a major expansion to the base game. This expansion was so large that it made the original Final Fantasy XIV recommended specs the new minimum, representing a significant overhaul of the game from the ground up.

To play Final Fantasy 14, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 graphics card, an Intel Core i7-7700 CPU, and 8GB of RAM to meet the new Final Fantasy 14 minimum requirements. This will only get you up and running on the lowest settings, so you might want to aim for a higher benchmark if you want to run Final Fantasy Dawntrail on your PC.

If you want to meet the new Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail recommended specs, you will need the equivalent of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, an Intel Core i7-9700 CPU, and 16GB of RAM.
