An Intel Pentium 4 2.00GHz CPU is required at a minimum to run Backgammon. Provided that you have at least a modern graphics card graphics card you can play the game. You will need at least 200 MB of free disk space to install Backgammon. By contrast, the game developers recommend somewhere around 400 MB of free disk space on your system drive.

Backgammon will run on PC system with XP and upwards. Additionally it has Mac and Linux versions.
