Can I Run Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered?
What are the Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered requirements? Developers Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software have revealed what hardware you need to play Spider-Man PC. There are as many Spider-Man Remastered PC specs skews as Peter Parker has gadgets, but we're here to help you make sense of it all, so you get into the swing of things.
If your gaming PC meets the Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered minimum system requirements, you should be able to run the action-adventure game at 720p with Very Low settings, with an average frame rate of 30fps. You'll need a CPU as powerful as an Intel Core i3 4160, paired with a GPU as strong as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 (2GB), alongside 8GB of RAM. While the game will work on an HDD, every skew after this recommends installing it on an SSD, but you'll need 75GB of space regardless of which storage solution you opt for.
Jumping up to the Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered recommended system requirements calls for more performant hardware across the board, but you'll be able to run the game at 1080p with Medium settings and an average frame rate of 60fps. A processor that's at least as capable as an Intel Core i5 4570 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 will be necessary to power this level of performance and fidelity. You'll also want to pack a graphics card that's at least as good as an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB) backed up by 16GB of RAM. From here on out, a hard drive simply won't cut it so make sure to install the game on a solid state drive.
Meeting the Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered very high system requirements unlocks the ability to run the game at a 4K resolution at the Very High preset, with an average frame rate of 60fps. You'll need a CPU and GPU of a much higher calibre to do this, with the developers saying an Intel Core i5 11400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor or higher is necessary. Meanwhile, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 (8GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16GB) set the new floor for this level of performance.
As we wall crawl our way up to the Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered Amazing Ray Tracing system requirements, we need to take things up a notch when it comes to PC hardware. Doing so, will give us the power to run the game at a 1440p resolution at an average frame rate of 60fps, using the High and Ray Tracing High quality presets. Processor specs are only slight higher compared to the previous set of specs, moving up to an Intel Core i5 11600K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. The same goes for graphics cards, with an appearance from the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT (16GB) while the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 (8GB) should still be plenty powerful.
With great specs comes great graphical fidelity, as indicated by the Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered Ultimate Ray Tracing system requirements. If your gaming PC packs the specs needed, you'll be able to run the game at a 4K resolution with an average frame rate of 60fps, using the High and Ray Tracing Very High presets. Only the latest high-end CPUs will suffice here, namely the Intel Core i7 12700K or AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, paired with 32GB of RAM. You'll need more GPU muscle too, specifically an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 (10GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT (16GB).
